Pitch Assist is an offline-first football planning app. Your teams, players, matches and settings live on your device first and are synced to your account across devices. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
What we collect
Account details you provide (email, optional first name, last name and date of birth) when you sign in with Apple, Google or email. App content you create (teams, players, matches, settings, help-assistant chats). Basic technical logs needed to operate the service (request times, error traces).
How we use it
To sign you in, sync your data between devices, answer questions through the in-app help assistant, and keep the service working and secure. We do not use your content for advertising.
Camera & Photos
The app may request access to your camera or photo library only if you choose to add a team badge image. This is entirely optional.
Location
The app may request location access to help identify nearby clubs or venues. Location data is used only within the app and is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
Help assistant
When you send a message to the in-app help assistant, the message is sent to an AI provider through a secure proxy to generate a reply. Chat history is kept in memory and cleared when you close the conversation.
Data storage and security
Authentication is provided by Clerk. Synced content is stored in our database in the EU. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). You can export or wipe all local data from Settings → Data at any time. To delete your account and all server-side data, contact pitchassist@outlook.com.
Third parties
We rely on Clerk (authentication), our hosting provider, and an AI provider for the help assistant. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Children's privacy
Pitch Assist is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email pitchassist@outlook.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
